Launched in 1903 by Birmingham grocer John Sumner, and originally sold as a cure for indigestion, Ty.phoo is still one of Britain's favourite teas. 90 refreshing cups of Ty.phoo are drunk every second - that's 2.9 billion every year. Our team of expert tea buyers and blenders carefully select only the finest tea leaves to ensure great taste, quality and freshness from every cup of Ty.phoo. Available in packs of 40, 80, 160 and 240 bags, and loose tea in 125g and 250g packs.
Ty.phoo uses a decaffeination process which gently removes most of the caffeine and is believed to give a better flavour of decaffeinated tea than some other methods. Recent research has shown that the healthy antioxidants in tea are not removed during this process. So it's a great alternative to regular tea when you want to reduce your daily caffeine intake. Available in packs of 40, 80 and 160.
Ty.phoo ‘Quick Tea' (QT) provides a cup of tea in an instant – all you need to do is add hot water and stir. It is the only instant black tea with whitener available, making it ideal for days out or camping trips. Ty.phoo QT is also easy on the planet, as there's no teabag waste and the jar is recyclable. Available in 150g and 225g jars.
